    Julia (Skasko) Sheftic, 78, Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg, formerly
  of Jenners, died April 3, 1996, at Memorial Medical Center,
  Johnstown.  Born Dec. 31, 1917, in Ralphton, daughter of Nicholas and
  Verona Skasko.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew Sr., on
  April 28, 1990; sisters:  Nora Matirko, Mary Kolesko, Nancy Benko,
  Helen Hvay, Anna Skasko and Susan Vosko; and brother Michael. 
  Survived by these children:  Andrew Jr., Portage, and Janet, wife of
  Nick Yakubik, Silver Spring, Md.; also 3 grandchildren:  Christine,
  Nicholas and Sarah Yakubik.  Member of St. Mary's Orthodox Greek
  Catholic Church, Jenners, and Ladies Altar Society.  Friends received
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell, where Panachida will be sung at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and also
  at 9:15 a.m. Friday.  Parastas at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's
  Church, Rev. Father Michael J. Miklos, celebrant.  Followed by
  Interment Rites at the church cemetery.
