Sheftic, 26, Boswell RD 2, Stoughton Lake, dead on arrival July 30, 1978 at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, as a result of an auto accident. Born May 12, 1952 in Somerset, son of Basil and Anne (Fitchko) Sheftic. Survived by parents, Boswell RD 2, Stoughton Lake; and a brother, B. Vinson Sheftic, married to the former Georgia Morocco, Stoystown RD 1. Member of Flood City Corvette Club. Was an electronic technician formerly employed by General Electric in Aleutian Islands and Turkey. Graduate of North Star High School 1970 and Penn Technical School. Pittsburgh in 1972. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 1-9 p.m. Wednesday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where Panachida will be sung, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Parastas will be sung at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Ward, pastor of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Orthodox Catholic Church, Jenners, officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
