  THEODORE SHEPPARD
  
    Theodore Sheppard, 81, 230 Large St., Meyersdale, died Sunday, June
  25, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.  He was a retired barber.
    A native of Meyersdale, he was a son of the late David R. and
  Josephine (Purdy) Sheppard.
    A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the American Legion,
  Charles E. Kelly Post 112, Meyersdale, and of St. Phillip's Episcopal
  Church in Cumberland.  
    He was a brother of Reese and Miss Kate Sheppard, both of
  Meyersdale; and Mrs. Madeline Hurst, Washington, D.C.
    Funeral service was conducted at the family home last Thursday
  afternoon at 2 p.m., with Rev. William J. Cox of Cumberland
  officiating.  Interment was made in Union Cemetery, under the
  direction of Price Funeral Home.
