(Pat) Sheridan, 66, 115 North Center St., Philipsburg, Pa., died Sept. 15, 1987, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pa. Born Nov. 7, 1920, in Boswell, son of the late Albert and Nora Ellen (O'Baker) Sheridan. Married Dec. 24, 1946, in Boswell to the former Anna J. Berger, who survives. Also survived by three children: Michael E., West Mifflin, Pa.; Donald L., Grampian, Pa.; Patricia A., at home; two sisters: Mrs. Lourdean Spence and Mary Margaret Ennis, both of Long Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, one sister, one brother, and two infant brothers. A graduate of Boswell High School, class of 1939 and a graduate with high honors of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, 1949. He was a licensed funeral director at the Dahlgren & Gilham Funeral Home in Philipsburg for 20 years. Formerly a funeral director in Boswell. Member of Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, served in the Army World War II, in the European Theater of Operations and was later a POW for 22 months. He had received the Bronze Star with the V for Valor for his actions during the war. Friends received at the Dahlgren & Gilham Funeral Home, 228 North Center St., Philipsburg, Pa. Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., with a Christian Wake Service Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Albert J. Anselmi. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to the local chapter of the Pa. Association for Retarded Citizens.
