  Mrs. Florence J. Shesko, 54, Boswell, RD 1, died Aug. 7, 1977, at the
  Memorial Hospital at Johnstown.  She was born on Feb. 10, 1923, in
  Jenner Township, Somerset County.  A daughter of Ambrose J. and Dora
  (Dusak) Sopich, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister
  Anna, and brothers George, Anthony and Michael.  She is survived by
  her husband, Nicholas; a son James R., married to the former Denise
  Miller of Boswell RD 1; a daughter, Linda, wife of Gary Mauzy, of
  Boswell RD 2; and a grandson, Erik Mauzy.  She was a sister of
  Barbara; John, married to the former Dorothy Ewanitsko; and Wanita,
  all of Boswell RD 1; Joseph, married to the former Elizabeth Boscy of
  Stoystown, RD 1; Kathrine, wife of Peter D. Novak; Steve, married to
  the former Janet Ohler, both of Boswell; and Francis, married to the
  former Antoinette Tonolini of Jerome.  Friends will be received from
  noon until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, in the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home
  at 409 Main St., Boswell, where services will be held at 10 a.m.
  Wednesday, with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes, officiating.  Interment,
  Jenner Cross Roads Cemetery.
