  Mary M. Shetler, 94, formerly of Penn Avenue, Hollsopple, died Dec.
  13, 2001 at Laurel View Village, Davidsville.  Born May 30, 1907 in
  Conemaugh Township.  Daughter of Jeremiah and Polly (Woods) Miller. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband Paul M. Shetler who died Feb.
  1, 1982; brother LaVan, and sister Verna Baer.  Survived by nephew,
  Paul Baer, married to the former Rosalie Ferline, Hollsopple;
  great-nephews, Paul Baer, and wife Patty; Bill Baer and wife Trish,
  and many other nieces and nephews.  Sister-in-law of: Lydia Catherine
  Holsopple, Hollsopple; Mary, wife of Delmar Thomas; William Shetler
  and wife Josephine, and Evelyn French, all of Davidsville.  Life
  member of St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davidsville, since
  the age of 17.  Member of Hollsopple Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies
  Auxiliary, where was a treasurer for more than 30 years; Somerset
  County Firemen's Relief Fund; Senior Citizens, Hollsopple; and
  Conemaugh Township Historical Society.  Family receiving friends from
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc.,
  Davidsville.  Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. David's
  Lutheran Church, where remains will lie in state from noon until time
  of service, the Rev. Nelson Ilgenfritz.  Interment, Blough Mennonite
  Cemetery.
