    Nellie I. (Walker) Shields, 67, 222 West Ave., Jerome died Oct. 9,
  1995, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Oct. 23, 1927, in
  Boswell.  Daughter of William and Lillian (Swope) Walker.  Preceded
  in death by parents and brother, William E. Sr.  Survived by husband,
  Carl J., and children: Beverly, wife of William Desort, Hollsopple RD
  2, and Wayne, married to Susan Shroyer, Jerome.  Also grandchildren:
  Brandon and Ben Desort, Amy Ott and Jennifer Shields and
  great-granddaughter, Cassie Jo Ott.  Sister of Cora, widow of Walter
  Levadnuk, Jerome; Alfred Walker and wife Marie, Friedens RD 2, and
  Ross Walker and wife Patty, Columbus, Ohio.  Would have observed 48th
  wedding anniversary Oct. 25, 1995.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday and until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, Rev. C.J. Ickes
  officiating.  Interment, Jenner Cross Roads Cemetery.
