    Paula May (Bowser) Shields, 57, of 1122 Poke Run Church Road,
  Washington Township, died Aug. 22, 1994, in Forbes Hospice,
  Pittsburgh.  Born Oct. 25, 1936, in New Kensington.  Survivors
  include her husband of 41 years, Raymond V. Shields; two sons: James
  Raymond Shields of Upper Burrell, and Dr. David Paul Shields of Mount
  Pleasant; three daughters: Linda Gautier of Washington Township, Mrs.
  Jeff (Judy) Bunch of Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. Richard (Becky)
  Trimpey of Markleton, Somerset County; 11 grandchildren; two brothers
  and two sisters.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today
  and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Ross G. Walker
  Funeral Home Ltd., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  A funeral
  service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Hillcrest Alliance
  Church, 232 Hillcrest Drive, Lower Burrell.
