  CLETUS W. SHINGLETON
  
    Cletus W. Shingleton, 72, of LaVale, Maryland and formerly Hyndman
  RD 2, died March 10, 1984, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland,
  Maryland.
    Born March 12, 1911, in Romney, W.Va., he was a son of the late
  James Shingleton and Elizabeth (Haines) Shingleton.
    He was a retired farmer and U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
    Surviving are his widow, Rosalee (Flanagan); one son, Russell
  Flanagan, Hyndman RD 1; one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Brelsford, LaVale,
  Md.; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Sines, Martinsburg, West Virginia; five
  grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received in the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman, where services were conducted with the Rev. Marlin J. King
  officiating.  Interment was in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
