  MRS. AMANDA SHIPLEY
  
    Mrs. Amanda Shipley, 86, of Confluence died Friday, Feb. 18.  She
  was born Sept. 13, 1879 in Bewinning, England, a daughter of Isiah
  and Sarah (Potter) Rigley.
    Her husband, Samuel Shipley preceded her in death.  She is survived
  by a son, William N. Shipley of Connellsville; two grandchildren; 16
  great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Glenn Rigley of
  Pittsburgh, Fred Rigley of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Slay of
  Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Elizabeth McCall of Gulfport, Fla. and Miss
  Slavania Rigley of Pittsburgh.
    Funeral service was held Sunday at 1 p.m. in Humbert Funeral Home,
  the Rev. James Bissell officiating.  Interment at Smithton.
