  CHARLES F. SHIPLEY
  
    Charles F. Shipley, 61, of Salem, Ohio, formerly of Confluence,
  died July 30, 1972, in Salem Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 10, 1911,
  in Confluence, he was the son of Walter and Alice (Spears) Shipley.
    Surviving are his wife, Clara (Bird) Shipley; four daughters, Mrs.
  Thelma Sarver, Martinsburg; Mrs. Audrey Rishel, Uniontown; Mrs. Clara
  Williams, Berlin Center, Ohio; Mrs. Alta Mohr, Marietta, Ohio; four
  sons, David F., Windham, Ohio; Ralph E., Salem, Ohio; Forest L.,
  Youngstown, Ohio; and Valice, Minot, N. Dak.; 27 grandchildren; and
  one brother, Harold Shipley, Confluence.
    Friends were received at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  funeral service was held Wednesday with interment in Johnson Chapel
  Cemetery.
