   Doris Roberta (Strawn) Shipley, Westerville, Ohio, died Jan. 12, 2008, in Westerville.
  Born March 7, 1919, in Connellsville, a daughter of James and Martha Strawn. Preceded in
  death by her parents; husband, Raymond W. Shipley Sr; daughter, Kay Arneson; grandson,
  Thomas Sandall; brothers, William E. Strawn and James H. Strawn Jr.; and sisters, Mary
  Elizabeth Whipkey and Vivian Tupman. Survived by her son, Raymond W. Shipley Jr. and his
  wife, Laurie, Wake Forest, N.C.; daughters, Nancy Randall, Lanham, Md.; Martha Stuart and
  her husband John, Martinsburg, W.Va.; Diana Sandall and her husband Thomas, Westerville,
  Ohio; brother, George Strawn and wife, Catherine, Connellsville; sister, Louise Lee and
  husband, Albert, Fort Meyers, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 10
  great-great-grandchildren. She was retired from McLachlen National Bank in Washington,
  D.C. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ralph G. Landis
  officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
