  EFFIE E. SHIPLEY
  
    Effie E. Shipley, 82, Walnut Street, Friendsville, Md., died
  Sunday, Sept. 14, 1986, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Md.
    Born in Friendsville, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ida
  (Kerling) Shevel.  Her husband, Clifford Stanton Shipley, preceded
  her in death.
    Surviving are one son, Warren R. Shipley, New Kensington; three
  daughters: Mrs. Doris J. Tagliafeui, Curwensville; Miss Donna J.
  Shipley, Confluence; and Mrs. Eleanor K. Egle, Friendsville; one
  sister, Mrs. Rose Raymond, Friendsville, five grandchildren and a
  number of great-grandchildren.
    Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville,
  Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be conducted
  there Thursday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Stephen Yelovich.  Interment
  will be in the Steele Cemetery.
