  Karen K. Shipley, 57, of Confluence, died Dec. 13, 2004, at Mount
  Macrina Manor, Uniontown. Born Dec. 25, 1946, in Confluence, daughter
  of the late William P. and Mabel C. (Younkin) Plume. Survived by
  daughter Heidi Hayden, Framington; son Carl Shipley, Confluence;
  grandchildren L.J. and Kyle Hayden and Stacey Shipley; brothers
  William Martin, Youngstown, Richard Martin, Austin, Texas, and sister
  Sandia Hayes, Surprise, Ariz. She was a member of the Confluence
  Church of the Nazarene. Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Ronald Shaeffer officiating.
  Interment in Jersey Cemetery.
