  SHIPLEY
  
  Mrs. Katheryn L. Shipley, 80, of Meyersdale, died April 14, 1976 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born May 21, 1895 in Meyersdale, a
  daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Rees Leonard.  Preceded in
  death by her husband Fulton.  Survived by these children, Thomas of
  Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Katheryn Walker of Washington, D.C.; and Mrs.
  Henry (Elizabeth) Beamer of Meyersdale RD 3; eight grandchildren and
  seven great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran
  Church of Meyersdale.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services
  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Harold Appel
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.  The family suggests that
  expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the
  Meyersdale Public Library.
