  SHIPLEY
  
    Mary V. Shipley, 75, of Confluence died Feb. 15, 1999 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 5, 1924 in Meyersdale.  Daughter of Charles and
  Sophia (Slaubaugh) Durr.  Preceded in death by parents, husband
  Harold and infant daughters Elizabeth and Donna.  Survived by a son
  Jay Shipley and his wife Cindy of Confluence, three
  step-grandchildren Glenn E. Mitchell II, George A. Mitchell and
  Zachary S. Mitchell, and two brothers John and William Durr of
  Dundalk, Md.  Member of the Confluence VFW Post 7250 Ladies
  Auxiliary.  Friends will be received from 2 until 9 p.m. today at
  Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where services will be held at 1
  p.m. Thursday with Rev. Ricardo Alicastro officiating.  Interment
  will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
