WALTER SHIPLEY

  Walter Shipley, aged 71 years, died in the Connellsville Hospital, Jan. 27, 
after a lingering illness of several months.
  Mr. Shipley, some years ago was retired from his position with the B. & O. 
Railroad Co., as signalman.
  Surviving are his wife, Alice (Spear) Shipley, and four sons, Lawrence, 
Charles, Harold and Ralph.
  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the family residence, with Rev. 
Meadows officiating.  Interment was made in the Johnson Chapel cemetery, under 
the direction of Samuel Black.
