  Wilbert P. Shipley, 59, Addison, died Sept. 11, 2004 at Memorial
  Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Dec. 23, 1945 in Confluence, son of
  the late Merle W. and Helen C. (Jacobs) Shipley. Preceded in death by
  parents, sisters Peggy and Wanda and brothers Charles and Merle
  "Sonny." Survived by wife, Sarah (Fazenbaker); children Doris Stanley
  of Chesapeake, Va., Bobby Shipley and Teresa Baita, both of Virgina
  Beach, Va., Bobby Shope and Laurie Kamp, both of Confluence; four
  grandchildren; sisters Gladys Sanner and Alda Peary, both of
  Confluence, Beverly Garletts of Mill Run and Nina Phillippi of
  Markleton; and two brothers, Ronald Shipley and Roger Shipley, both
  of Confluence. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a
  member of Confluence VFW Post 7250. Friends will be received from 2
  to 9 p.m. Monday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services
  will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Weldon Peary
  officiating. Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
