  GLESSNER-SHIPPEY
  
    Anna M. (Monnett) Glessner-Shippey, 66, Pitt Street, Jennerstown,
  formerly of Somerset, died Nov. 16, 2000, at Memorial Medical Center,
  Johnstown.  Born July 25, 1934, in Wheeling, W.Va., daughter of
  Jeremiah F. and Martha Ellen (Chaney) Monnett.  Preceded in death by
  parents, husband, Edward N. Shippey, May 9, 1987; and several sisters
  and brothers.  Survived by daughters: Martha (Monnett), widow of Paul
  J. Fullem, Meyersdale; Dixie (Glessner), wife of George M. Poraczky,
  Sagertown [sic]; Patricia (Glessner) Smith, Flemington, N.J.; Diane
  (Glessner), wife of Christopher Patrick, Richardson, Texas; and Nancy
  (Glessner), wife of Galen Helbig, Berlin; 10 grandchildren and a
  special friend, Donald Ritenour, Lavansville.  Sister of: Melvin,
  Baltimore, Md.; Dorothy Glessner, Friedens; and John, Tiffin, Ohio. 
  Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset.  Retired employee of
  the Pa. Department of Revenue.  Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell,
  where vigil for the deceased will be held at 4 p.m. Friday.  Funeral
  Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Church, with the Rev.
  Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant.  Committal, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
  Conemaugh Home Health, 130 Osborne St., Johnstown, Pa. 15905.
