    Harvey Joe Shippey, 75, Acosta, died Nov. 4, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 17,
  1931, in Lambertsville, son of Harvey E. and Martha C. (Keiper) Shippey. Preceded in
  death by parents; daughter, Mary Jane Shippey; grandsons, Joseph Matkoskey and Michael
  Foust; two brothers, Floyd and Art Shippey; and sister, Leona Bence. Survived by wife,
  Emma Matilda (Valentine) Shippey; and these children, Louise Foust, Johnstown; Linda
  Sarver, Berlin; Randy Shippey, Acosta; Keri Smiley, Bedford; Sheri Shepley, Stoystown.
  Also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Brother of Eugene
  Shippey, Shanksville, and Cleo Jodlowsky, Taylor, Mich. Funeral arrangements by
  Alternative Burial Corp., Johnstown.
