  CARRIE L. SHIREY
  
    Mrs. Carrie L. Shirey, 93, formerly of Cresaptown, Maryland, died
  Friday, February 15, 1985, at the Cumberland Nursing Home, Maryland.
    Born in Boynton, she was a daughter of the late Chancey Bowman and
  Henrietta (Chorpenning) Bowman.
    Her husband, Harry L. Shirey, died Sept. 9, 1961.
    She is survived by four sons, Chancey L. Shirey, Cresaptown,
  Maryland; Clifton E. Shirey, McMullen Highway; Forrest L. Shirey,
  Inwood, W.Va.; Harry J. Shirey, Bel Air, Cumberland, Maryland; two
  daughters, Mrs. Lillian A. Martz, Cresaptown, Maryland; Mrs. Ruby E.
  Shoemaker, Bedford Valley; 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren
  and several great-great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary.
