  JOHN SHIRT
  
    John Shirt, 76, Johnstown RD 3, died Sept. 19, 1980, at home.
    He was born Sept. 26, 1903, in Glen Campbell, son of James and
  Margaret (Hunter) Shirt.  He was preceded in death by parents, four
  brothers and sister.
    He is survived by widow, former Elva M. Durst, and these children:
  Ronald, married to former Lois Wadsworth; Janis, wife of William
  Bense Jr.; Joyce, wife of Robert Ulasky; and Connie, wife of Richard
  Ulasky, all of Windber; Evelyn, wife of Glenn Pugh, Friedens; Nancy,
  wife of Louis McGough, Mount Laurel, N.J.; Rennie, Arizona; and
  Anita, wife of John Lucas Jr., Salix; also 24 grandchildren and
  great-granddaughter.  He is the brother of Mrs. Margaret Rose,
  Berlin.  Member of Scalp Level Local 5229, UMWA.
    Friends were received at the Shank-Dalla Valle Funeral Home,
  Windber, where services were conducted by the Rev. Edward Carl. 
  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
