  ELSIE SHOBEL
  
    Miss Elsie Shobel, 72, Johnstown RD 5, died Feb. 28, 1984, at Lee
  Hospital.
    She was born Aug. 18, 1911, in Johnstown, daughter of late John and
  Catherine (Adams) Schobel.
    She was preceded in death by sister, Anna Mihelic.
    She is survived by these brothers and sisters: Catherine
  Kornprobst, Seanor; Mathilda Orvac, Nanty Glo; Susan Dillon, Betty
  Garrity and John Schobel, all of Johnstown.
    Also survived by very close friend, Evelyn Haire, Johnstown.
    She was formerly employed by Burgy Bros. and Cambria True Value
  Hardware, Westmont.
    She was a member of First Lutheran Church and AARP.
    Friends were received at The Picking - Treece - Bennett Mortuary,
  Inc., where services were held with the Rev. Nelson Ilgenfritz. 
  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
