    Margaret Y. Shober, 92, of Berlin, died Dec. 17, 1999, at home. 
  Born Oct. 23, 1907, in Stonycreek Township.  Daughter of William and
  Maggie (Yutzy) Engle.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Jack,
  brother Lester, sisters Sadie Glessner, Lydia Miller, Edna Landis,
  Edith Rhoads, Leora Schrock, Mary Catherine Engle, and Alda
  Brammer.  Survived by these children: Jack E., married to former Mary
  Elizabeth Peckham of Rochester Hills, Mich., Larry W., married to
  former Sandra Stahl, and Leanne, married to Thomas Calvert, both of
  Berlin; grandchildren; Jeffrey and Steven Calvert, Braden Bryan,
  Scott, and Susan Shober; also four great-grandchildren.  Retired
  Berlin Brothersvalley schoolteacher.  Member of Trinity United Church
  of Christ, Berlin; Valley Grange 878, Second Society of Farm Women,
  Pius Spring Woman's Club and Berlin Area Historical Society.  Family
  will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev.
  Melvin A. Kirk Jr., officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
