  SHOCKEY
  
    Mrs. Gladys V. Shockey, 66, of Fort Worth, Tex., formerly of
  Friedens RD 1 and Davidsville, died Dec. 28, 1972 in Newark Ohio. 
  Born May 31, 1906, in West Union, W.Va., a daughter of John and Hilda
  Strosnider.  Preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Shockey. 
  Survived by these children: Major Samuel Shockey Jr. of Shreveport,
  La.; Miss Barbara of Fort Worth, Tex.; Mrs. William (Patricia)
  McCanna of Newark, Ohio; and five grandchildren.  Friends received after 2
  p.m. Saturday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services
  will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Richard E.
  Shellenberger officiating.  Interment Berlin Cemetery.
