  SHOCKEY
  
    Kathryn Ephemia Shockey, 84, Somerset, died April 26, 1998 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec. 1, 1913, in Stonycreek Township,
  Somerset County, daughter of Park Freeman and Susan Jane (Baker)
  Shank.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, William Henry Shockey,
  who died Aug. 16, 1973; grandson, Gregory Shockey and brother, Harold
  Henry Shank.  Survived by children, Kenneth E. Shockey, married to
  the former Ruth Ream, Listie Road, Friedens; Willard B. Shockey,
  married to the former Genevieve Muscardelli, Friedens; and Mrs.
  Frederick (Mary Jane) Kohberg, Northport, Long Island, N.Y.; 11
  grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Mary Eva
  Barnes, Monroeville and Paul William Shank, North Irwin.  Member of
  Friedens Lutheran Church.  Clerk and cashier for the former Geiger
  Store for 14 years, retiring in 1974.  Friends will be received from
  7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at
  Friedens Lutheran Church, Friedens, with the Rev. James R. Ling
  officiating. No viewing at the church.  Interment in Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes
  Association, 116 South Allegheny St., Room 309, Bellefonte, Pa. 16823.
