  SHOCKEY
  
    Orville E. Shockey, 83, Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 24, 1993, at
  home.  Born Jan. 9, 1910, in Milford Township, son of Levi and Ellen
  (Miller) Shockey.  Preceded in death by parents; his wife, the former
  Violet Yoder; sisters: Edith Flick, Cora Vought, Sarah Vought,
  Cordilla Tipton, Edna Schrock and Violet Livengood; brothers:
  William, Vernon and Harry.  Survived by these children: Harold,
  married to the former Marlene Holt, Hermitage; Mrs. Daniel (Shirley)
  Horne, Middletown, N.J.; Mrs. Ernest (Norma) Coslic, Berlin RD 1, and
  Mrs. Lloyd (Linda) Watkins, Somerset RD 5; 12 grandchildren and 13
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Alda Beck, Rockwood.  Retired from
  Westinghouse, Pittsburgh, after 29 years service.  Member of Friedens
  Lutheran Church and Friedens Volunteer Fire Company.  Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown.  Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Friedens
  Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be given
  to Friedens Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
