  REBECCA IRENE SHOCKEY
  Nov. 23, 1916 - June 1, 2000
  
    Rebecca Irene Shockey, 83, of Meyersdale, died June 1, 2000, in
  Johnstown.
    Born Nov. 23, 1916, in Larimar Township, Mrs. Shockey was a
  daughter of the late Lewis and Daisy (Cook) Mazer.
    She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Minerva Crissinger
  and Lucille Mazer; and two brothers: Lewis and George Mazer.
    Mrs. Shockey is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert
  F. Shockey, and these children: Suzanne and her husband, David
  Baretincic, Johnstown; Robert Shockey and his wife, Stephanie,
  Meyersdale; Sandra and her husband, William Paxton, Rotonda West,
  Fla.; and William and his wife, Alcinda, Kingwood, W. Va. She is also
  survived by the following grandchildren: Tracy Carter-Master, Joseph
 Carter; Meredith Ann, Mark and Jillian Paxton; Joshua, Amanda and
  Zachery Shockey; and Alexander and George Shockey, Jr.;
  great-grandchildren Joseph and Daniel Carter; a daughter-in-law,
  Theresa Shockey; and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Mazer.
    Friends were received June 3 at the Price Funeral Home in
  Meyersdale. A joint service for Mrs. Shockey and dear friend Kathryn
  Eva Rembold was conducted June 4 at the New Hope United Church of
  Christ, with the Rev. Lamar Bender officiating. Interment, White Oak
  Cemetery. 
    Memorial may be made to the New Hope United Church of Christ,
  Meyersdale.
