    Robert F. Shockey Sr., 98, Meyersdale, died Sept. 2, 2006, at Meyersdale Medical
  Center. Born Aug. 16, 1908, in Greenville Township, a son of the late Herman and Susan
  (Werner) Shockey. Also preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Irene (Mazer) Shockey,
  three brothers and five sisters. Survived by four children: Suzanne, wife of David
  Baretincic, Johnstown, Robert F. Shockey Jr. and wife Stephanie, Meyersdale, Sandra, wife
  of William Paxton, Rotonda West, Fla., and William Shockey, and his wife Alcinda,
  Kingwood, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren: Tracy Carter, Joseph Carter, Meredith Ann Paxton, Mark
  Paxton, Jillian Paxton, Joshua Shockey, Amanda Shockey, Zachery Shockey, Alexander
  Shockey
  and George Shockey Jr.; and four great-grandchildren: Joseph, Daniel, Anna and Rebecca.
  A retired telegraph operator for the Western Maryland Railroad with more than 40 years
  of service, and was a deputy game protector with 20 years of service. Friends will be
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the New Hope United Church of Christ. The Rev.
  Kathleen Mitchell officiating. Interment, White Oak Cemetery. Arrangements by the
  William Rowe Price Funeral Home Inc., Meyersdale.

   Robert F. Shockey Sr., 98 of Meyersdale, died September 2, 2006 at Meyersdale Medical
  Center.  Born August 16, 1908 in Greenville Twp, a son of the late Herman and Susan
  (Werner) Shockey. Also preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Irene (Mazer) Shockey; three
