SHOEMAKE Anna Elizabeth "Lib" Shoemake, 68, of 33 Blair Street, Frostburg, Md., died Saturday, Sept. 13, 1996, in the hospice unit at Sacred Heart Hospital Cumberland, Md., after an illness of three years. Born in Clarysville, Md., May 10, 1918, she was the daughter of the late George Lemmert and Rose (Llewellyn) Lemmert. She was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church and Farrady Unit 24, American Legion Auxiliary, and a charter member of Frostburg Aerie 1273, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Edgar W. Shoemake; three daughters: Mrs. Ann Jean Souders, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Sally E. Godlewski, Cresaptown, Md.; Mrs. Mary Lou Minnick, Gaithersburg, Md.; two sons: Edgar W. Shoemake Jr., Grantsville, Md.; John W. Shoemake, Frostburg, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Capel, Frostburg, Md.; three brothers: Marshall Lemmert, Florida; James Lemmert and Donald Lemmert, both of Frostburg; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
