Shoemaker, Catherine

"Mrs. H. J. Shoemaker" A respected resident of Connellsville died at her home 
there on Sunday from rheumatic trouble, aged 54 years. She had been a sufferer 
from this malady for five years. Her husband is the sole survivor. The maiden 
name of the deceased was Catherine Meyers and her girlhood was spent in this 
community. She was a devoted member of the Lutheran Church and services were 
conducted in Connellsville before the remains were brought to this place for 
interment, Mr. Price having charge of the funeral here. Interment was made in 
the Union Cemetery, Tuesday noon. Meyersdale Commercial, Sept. 2, 1915
