  SHOEMAKER
  
    June G. Shoemaker, 82, of Salisbury died Oct. 15, 2001 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 5, 1919 in Boynton, she was a daughter of the
  late Milton and Cecilia (Garlitz) Bowman.  Also preceded in death by
  her husband, Gilbert.  Survived by two daughters, Betty Lou Grew,
  Winchester, Va.; and Retha J. Durst, Grantsville, Md.; a brother
  Grant Bowman, West Salisbury; eight grandchildren.  Member of St.
  John's United Church of Christ, and American Legion, VFW, and
  firemen's auxiliaries.  She was a retired clerk for J. C. Lichliter's
  Store and Buckel's Market.  Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Saturday at Salisbury Cemetery with the Rev. Erica Beglin
  officiating.  Newman Funeral Home Inc.; Salisbury, is in charge of
  arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John's
  United Church of Christ.
