Born Feb. 20, 1914 in West Salisbury, a daughter of the late William C. and Annie (Engle) Harding. Also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin and one son, George. Survived by son, William R. Shoemaker, Port Orchard, Wash., daughter, Lillie Brown, Salisbury, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker. Member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, Salisbury Firemen's Auxiliary, and Meyersdale Medical Center Auxiliary. Visitation was held Saturday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, with the Rev.
