  SHOFFSTALL
  
  Myron L. Shoffstall, 42, of Holly Lane, Somerset RD 5, died March 4,
  1974, in Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born Aug. 24, 1931 in
  Kulpmont, Pa.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Nell (Kulp)
  Shoffstall.  He is survived by his father, George C. Sr. and
  stepmother, the former Katherine Markle, of Mifflintown RD 2.  Also
  survived by his wife the former Grace Ann Ard; and a son, Douglas J.;
  two brothers, George C. Jr. of State College and William of
  Gilbertsville.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church; graduate
  of Penn State, Class of 1957; and a member of the American and
  Pennsylvania Institutes of C.P.A.'s; Somerset Country Club;
  Meyersdale Elks; American Legion; and the Somerset Pistol and Rifle
  Club.  He was chairman of the Eastern Motels Association and
  treasurer of Woodland Campers Inc.; veteran of Korean War.  Mr.
  Shoffstall had an accounting practice in Somerset.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.
  Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. H. James Meyers
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Remains will
  be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
