  MEARLE G. SHOPE
  
    Mearle G. Shope, 79, of Addison, died Aug. 14, 1975, in Uniontown
  Hospital.  born July 6, 1896, he was a son of the late Benjamin and
  Bertha (Suder) Shope.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Reda Lowdermilk; a daughter,
  Mrs. Claude Raiford, Statesville, N.C.; a son, Richard M., of
  Fairhaven, Mass.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;
  also a brother, Kenneth of Akron, Ohio; and three half-brothers, Ben
  of Meadeville; Edward of Nokomis, Fla.; and William Garfield of
  Meyersdale.
    Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon in Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, with Rev. John R. Hickson officiating.  Interment in
  Addison Cemetery.
