Born Sept. 17, 1898, in Garrett County, Md., a daughter of the late Albert and Lillie (Nicklow) Loudermilk. Preceded in death by husband, Merle G.; a son, Robert B., and a infant daughter, Margaret; also a brother, G. Harold Loudermilk. Survived by a son, Richard M. Shope of Fairhaven, Mass., and a daughter, Dorothy Raiford of Lowgap, N.C.; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. A member of Addison United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. John R. Hickson officiating. Interment, Addison Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund of America, 1316A Davie Ave., Statesville, N.C. 28677 or the Addison Methodist Church, Addison, Pa. 15411.
