  SHORT
  
    John Frederick Short, 69, of 229 West Salisbury Ave., Salisbury
  died Nov. 30, 2000 in Pembroke Pines, Fla.  Born Sept. 28, 1931 in
  Cumberland, Md., he was a son of the late Faye E. Short and Emma
  (Yutzy) Short.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia
  Sperry, a brother Charles William Short, and a grandson Aaron Edward
  Short.  Survived by two sons, Brian Lee Short, Garrett, and Todd
  Edward Short, Meyersdale; a daughter, Lisa Ann Michael, Meyersdale;
  three brothers, Samuel David Short, Thomas Michael Short and Robert
  Fay Short, all of Salisbury, and six grandchildren.  Friends will be
  received from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A.,
  Grantsville, Md. where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
  Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating.  Following cremation, interment will
  take place at a later date.
