  SHORTT
  
    Anna Alma Shortt, 84, Meyersdale died Aug. 22, 2000 at Beverly
  Healthcare, Meyersdale.  Born May 3, 1916 in Salisbury, she was a
  daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Merrbach) Weimer.  Also
  preceded in death by her husband, Simon Shortt, June 22, 1960. 
  Survived by daughter, Anna Brown, Meyersdale, brother Harry Weimer,
  Avilton, Md.; half-brother Harvey Brown, Salisbury; two sisters,
  Norma Thomas, Somerset, Carolyn Geisweidt, Meyersdale, four
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received
  7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md., where services will be
  conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Rev. David Fetter officiating. 
  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
