    Goldie Shortt, 85, Meyersdale RD 3, formerly of LaPorte, Ind., died
  Jan. 15, 1996, at Meyersdale Medical Center.  She was born Aug. 14,
  1910, in Blough, Pa., a daughter of the late Edward and Fannie
  (Wolford) Ringler.  Preceded in death by her husband, Leo J., in
  1984.  She is survived by these children: Jean, wife of Paul Lohr of
  Meyersdale RD 3 with whom she made her home; Maxine, wife of Ivan
  Manges of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Phyllis Comeno of LaPorte, Ind.;
  Joseph, Seal Beach, Calif.; David and wife Ruth, Plymouth, Ind.;
  Jerry and wife Virginia of Camden, Tenn.; Larry and wife Sandy of
  Walkerton, Ind.; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and six
  great-great-grandchildren.  Also four step-grandchildren; David and
  wife Susan (Fike) Lohr, Larry Lohr, Janice Lohr and Joyce, wife of
  Joe Brown, all of Meyersdale RD 3; two brothers and one sister: Ryan
  Ringler of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Clyde Ringler of Stevens, Pa., and
  Margaret Bevillina, Fairfax, Va.  Member of the Trinity Lutheran
  Church, LaPorte, Ind. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will
  be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Pastor William Davis.  On
  Thursday, she will be viewed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Cutter
  Funeral Home, LaPorte, Ind., where services will be 2 p.m. Friday,
  Rev. Carl Fitchett.  Interment, Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
