Born June 11, 1919, in Hiram, son of the late Harry E. and Blanche (Schooley) Shotts. Also preceded by a brother, George. Surviving are his wife, Nellie (DeShong) Shotts; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Sandra) Eisenhart, East Berlin; two sons: Paul Jr., Everett; Mark, Waterfall; four grandchildren; one sister, Grace Heefner, Hustontown; two brothers, Charles, Waterfall; Ralph, McConnellsburg. He was a farmer, member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Had been a Sunday School teacher and superintendent and served as a church trustee. He was an honorary member of Hustontown WCTU and was a director of New Enterprise Rural Electric Co-op. Served in the Army during World War II. Funeral services Saturday (today) at 2 p.m. at Fairview United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, with the Rev. James Hollister and the Rev. Francis Yarlett. Visitation one hour before service at the church. Burial adjoining church cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard. Arrangements with Howard L.
