  MRS. CLARENCE SHOWALTER
  
    Mrs. Leora Showalter, 89, of Meyersdale RD 1, died Oct. 17, 1978 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in Elk Lick Township, she was a daughter of the late Eli Folk
  and Agnes (Garlitz) Folk.  Her husband, Clarence B. Showalter,
  preceded her in death.
    Surviving are three sons, Clarence A. Showalter, Johnstown; James
  C. Showalter, Baltimore; George B. Showalter, Cumberland, Md.; two
  brothers, George Folk, Manns Choice; Robert Folk, Finley, Ohio; two
  sisters, Mrs. Mae Bittinger, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Bessie Yoder,
  Meyersdale; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home where services
  were conducted by the Rev. Irvin J. Knieriem.  Interment, St. Paul
  Cemetery.
