  SHOWMAN
  
    Duane E. Showman, 60, of Champion RD 1 died Jan. 23, 1996, at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 29, 1935, in
  Jefferson Township.  Son of the late Walter D. and Mary K. (Shaulis)
  Showman.  Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Lane D.
  Showman.  Survived by his wife of 38 years, the former Dolores
  Pritts, and these children: Dale E. Pritts, married to the former
  Delana Martin, Somerset RD 6; Mrs. David (Robin) Riffle, Somerset RD
  4; and Thomas D. Showman, married to the former Kimberly Miller,
  Rockwood RD 2.  Four grandchildren.  Brother of Ashley Shaulis of
  Wooster, Ohio; Kenneth Showman, Wakeman, Ohio; Dolores Miller,
  Berlin; Forest Showman, Kecksburg; Frank Showman, Melcroft; Raymond
  Showman, Meyersdale; Dennis Showman, Somerset RD 6; and Vada Harrold,
  Rockwood RD 2.  A former construction worker, Local 2274,
  Pittsburgh.  Last employed by Lion Mining Co. of Jennerstown.  Member
  of the Center Church of the Brethren.  Veteran of the U.S. Army. 
  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Thursday) at
  the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service
  will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Tom Singo officiating. 
  Interment, Tinkey Cemetery.
