    Mabel Gertrude Showman, 97, Somerset, died Feb. 19, 1998, at
  Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born July 7, 1900, in Jefferson Township. 
  Daughter of the late Frank Henry and Lillie Dale (Gardner) Showman. 
  Also preceded in death by brothers, Earl, Homer, Walter and Oren
  Showman.  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Cynthia B. Clay, Glades Pike,
  Somerset; grandchildren: Cathelia, wife of Dr. Charles Maxin, M.D.,
  State College; Bonita, wife of Ernest Lohr, Hooversville; Anita
  Koreen, wife of Thomas Owen, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Claudia, wife
  of Ivan Radman, Astoria, N.Y.; Adria Lee, wife of James Hadly,
  Morrisville; Great-grandchildren: Greg Lohr, Kelsey and Hally Maxin;
  Gillian Owen and Magdelina Hadly; great-great-granddaughter, Megan
  Lohr.  Also a sister, Mrs. Leona Ankney, Bakersville.  Member of
  Trinity Lutheran Church.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services
  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr.
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions
  may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 918 Tayman Ave., Somerset, Pa.
