  SHOWMAN
  
    Maude M. Showman, 88, of Somerset RD 4 (Bakersville), formerly of
  Indian Head, died Jan. 12, 1990, in Mount Pleasant.  She was born
  Aug. 1, 1901, at Indian Head, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary
  (Miller) Sleasman.  She is survived by two sons, Joseph of
  Connellsville and Harvey of Champion; four daughters: Loretta
  Hostetler, Bakersville; Mary Good, Uniontown; Marlene Berger, White,
  and Beverly Tamburino, Pittsburgh; 23 grandchildren and 28
  great-grandchildren; brothers Thomas of Indian Head and Earl of Belle
  Vernon.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Showman;
  three sons, a daughter, a brother and a sister.  Friends will be
  received from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Clyde Brooks Funeral
  Home Inc. Route 711, Melcroft, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday, with the Rev. David Huey officiating.  Interment in Mt. Nebo
  Cemetery.
