  SHREFFLER
  
  Charles Shreffler Jr., 72, Sunny Acres, Somerset RD 2, died April 20,
  1989 in his home.  Born Sept. 12, 1916, in Quemahoning Township, son
  of the late Charles and Jennie (Peterman) Shreffler.  Also preceded
  by a son, Robert; a daughter, Joy Marie; a grandson, Eric; two
  brothers and four sisters.  Survived by wife, Carrie C. (Reedy)
  Shreffler; son, Charles, Somerset; daughters, Jean Wolfe, Hebron,
  Ohio, and Mildred Warren, Troy, Mich.; four grandchildren; two
  great-grandchildren; sisters, Arvilla Whetzel, Joan Talbert, Mae
  Lauer, and one brother, Kenneth, all of Somerset.  Retired employee
  of Somerset Borough after 28 years of service in the waste water
  plant.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Saturday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will
  be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Leonard Day.  Interment, St.
  John's Cemetery.
