  SHREFFLER
  
  Mrs. Jennie Shreffler, 89, of Stoystown, died Oct. 25, 1975 at her
  residence.  Born April 12, 1886 in Shade Township, a daughter of
  Daniel and Idella (Lape) Peterman.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Charles; son, Herman; two daughters, Alice and Violet; two
  brothers and two sisters.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Dwight
  (Elsie) McMillen of Kingwood; Mrs. Idella Eicher, Charles and Mrs. M.
  Joan Talbert; all of Somerset, Ellsworth of Jerome; Mrs. Arvilla
  Whetzel of Stoystown; Mrs. Albert (Mae) Lauer, Mt. Wolf; and Kenneth,
  Harpers Ferry, W. Va.  Twelve grandchildren and 18
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Nelson (Minnie) Shaulis of
  Somerset.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hooversville.  Family
  received friends Sunday evening and will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Monday at the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home in Stoystown where
  services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Gerald Myers
  officiating.  Interment POS of A in Hooversville.
