  REV. KARL C. SHUCK  
  March 19, 1917 - September 24, 2002
  
    Rev. Karl C. Shuck, 85, of Wellersburg, died Sept. 24, 2002, at
  Beverly Healthcare, Meyersdale.
    Born March 19, 1917, in Larimer Twp., he was a son of the late
  Milton and Mary Etta (Christner) Shuck.
    He was also preceded in death by three sisters: Wauneta Boyce,
  Bernice Housel, and Margaret Petenbrink.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Leona Sturtz, and two
  daughters: Sheila Bard, Warfordsburg; and Diana, wife of Roger
  Smearman, Wellersburg; also four grandchildren: Dariel Pelton, Scott
  Bard, Holly Smearman and Kara Smearman; and two great-grandsons:
  Ethan Christner Pelton and Dayton Andrew Pelton.  He was a brother
  of: Ada Briskey and Pauline Nider, both of Meyersdale.
    Karl was a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII, retired from Delta Mining
  as a weigh master, and a retired minister of the Bedford Fulton County
  Christian Conference.
    Friends were received Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where service was conducted Saturday, with the Rev. William Davis
  officiating.  Interment, Cooks Cemetery, Wellersburg.
