Shuck, 80, a farmer, died shortly after 1 o'clock, Friday morning, April 17, at his home in Vim, following an illness of seven weeks. He was a native of Somerset County, being born on January 13, 1862, a son of William U. and Mary (Patton) Shuck. His wife died 10 years ago. Surviving are the following children: Ira and Hilliary Shuck, both of Vim; Mrs. Mary Thomas, Meyersdale; George H. Shuck, Salisbury Junction; Asa Shuck, Sand Patch R.D.; Milton Shuck, Wittenberg, Larimer Township, and Charles Shuck, Gray. Thirty-five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive him. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Main Street Brethren Church by Rev. Orville A. Lorenz. Interment was in Union Cemetery under the direction of W. C.
