The deceased was a consistent member of the Church of the Brethren. For the last nine years he had been an invalid. His wife and six children survive: William, the eldest son; Jacob, who was hurt in the mines, when a small boy and for 33 years has been an invalid and Elmer at home; Mrs. J. W. Bowman, Mrs. Wm. McCleary, Glade City; Mrs. W. A. Miller, Windber. The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a. m. at the Hostetler Church. Rev. W. M. Howe and Rev. E. K. Hostetler will conduct the services. Mr. Shultz was a veteran of the Civil War having been a member of Co. H Reg. P. H. B. of Maryland, serving 16 months until the close of the war. Meyersdale Commercial, July 29, 1915
