Born Oct. 11, 1960 in Meyersdale, a son of William and Jane (Mazer) Shultz, Meyersdale. Preceded in death by a brother, David, in 1988. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Pamela S. (Tressler) Shultz, whom he married July 6, 1985; brothers, Dale and wife, Rhonda, Meyersdale, and Danny and wife, Vonda, and nephews, Dillon and Colton, Garrett; sister, Donna at home; father and mother-in-law, Clyde and Elaine Tressler, Salisbury; brother-in-law, David Tressler and wife, Susan and Connor, Riverside, Calif.; sister-in-law, Annette Conn and husband, Gregory, Ashley and Chelsey, Somerset; niece Mindy Buxton and husband, Scott, Scottie and Madison, Somerset; and a number of aunts and cousins. Dwane was employed as a foreman for Dynamic Enterprises, Accident, Md. He had attended both the Lutheran and Brethren churches. He was a 1979 graduate of Meyersdale High School and was a member of the Home Aid Association of Earl H. Opel, Post 459, Salisbury, and Home Aid Association, American Legion Post 112, Meyersdale. Dwane loved the sport of auto racing and enjoyed competing at the following speedways: The Rock, The Fabulous Bedford Speedway, Roaring Knob Raceway, Thunder Valley and Somerset County Speedway. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
